Is Delta-8 Legal?

Delta-8 belongs to a family of potent cannabis concentrates produced by cannabis growers in three continents. Delta-8 contains a unique hybrid of cannabidiol ( CBD) and THC, which makes it different from other types of cannabis. Delta-8 cannabis is not smoked like other cannabis, instead it is consumed as a liquid, taken as a pill, or smoked like tobacco. It has become a favorite amongst medical marijuana users, especially since it is one of the few cannabis concentrates that contain an hour-long appetite suppressing effect similar to that of ephedra. delta 8 cbd also claims to have anti-cancer and blood sugar lowering properties, and is currently undergoing clinical trials.

Delta-8 is one of many new cannabis plant formulations that contain two new cannabis plant chemicals, THC and CBD. The two chemicals in Delta-8 have very interesting physical and chemical properties, which make them distinct from each other and more importantly, from each other's closest cousins, alphahydrocannabis (THC) and ergosterol (CBD). When Delta-8 takes an active role in the body, it produces two chemicals, namely Delta-8-THC and Delta-8 CBD. Delta-8-THC is known for its euphoric sensations, which can produce a "love" sensation in human beings.

Delta-8 CBD is less euphoric but produces a more profound type of calming effect than that of delta-8-THC. This can be attributed to the fact that CBD is a partial psychoactive substance, which means it has the ability to interact with the human brain's natural mechanism of producing endorphins. The interaction between CBD and endorphins creates a state of comfort, including a sense of well-being, which is the body's basic need. Therefore, Delta-8 CBD is less likely to produce addiction like the THC does. However, some Delta-8 CBD products such as gummy bears and chewing gum are still prohibited in some jurisdictions.

If you do not want to consume delta-8 thc but would still like to experience the benefits of Delta-8 CBD, you can get delta-8 products such as shatterproof CBD coffee grinders, CBD capsules, shatterproof oil, and CBD e-liquid. Any product containing CBD is considered to be an illegal drug, under federal law, even if it contains only trace amounts of THC. Thus, if you choose to make use of CBD products to receive delta-8 products, it is imperative that you ensure that you are completely aware of all the applicable laws regarding such drugs. To be on the safe side, it is best to invest in a CBD product such as CBD cartridges or CBD e-liquid instead of grinding marijuana plants.

Even though CBD is an "intractable" drug, delta-8 products are still advertised as 'legal'. However, it is highly unlikely that Delta-8 manufacturers would ever fully reveal the true level of THC contained in their products, because it is against the law! Delta-8 manufacturers will never publish the THC contents of their products, because it is against the law. Further, the current crop of delta-8 products is unlikely to contain any CBD at all. If delta-8 manufacturers do not publish the true amount of THC and CBD contained in their products, consumers will have no way of knowing whether or not they are receiving an actual medicinal benefit from consuming the CBD included in the Delta-8 product.

In addition to not publishing the true level of THC and CBD contained in delta 8, companies involved in the production and distribution of such pharmaceuticals are also forbidden by law from creating anything containing any psychoactive substance. This means that individuals purchasing these products are purchasing a controlled substance rather than an herbal remedy! However, even when the Delta-8 contains only delta 8 thymol, that substance is still considered a psychoactive substance. As long as Delta-8 remains controlled substance, consumers may obtain it over the counter and not be required to register or pay taxes. It is also highly unlikely that Delta-8 will ever be regulated in any way, because legislation proposing such regulation is not scheduled to be passed until 2021.
